After receiving her Diploma in Tourism and Events at Holmesglen TAFE, Nicola
spent over 2 years learning about the conference and meeting business a
Conference and Events Coordinator with a property in regional Victoria. This
experience developed her communication skills, attention to detail and
understanding of the day-to-day operation of conference venues. Nicola is
highly focused on the importance of customer service that is required in
the hospitality and tourism industry and continues to expand her knowledge
of Local, Inter-State and International Conference venues.

Having obtained formal qualifications in Tourism/Hospitality Management, Mark entered
the Conference and Event Management Industry. His experience includes working with large
conference hotels including Sofitel, Grand Hyatt and Carlton Group within conference
operations and senior sales positions. Moving out of hotels Mark worked within professional
Conference Organising companies as Senior Project Manager and Sales & Marketing
Managers roles. Having worked on some of the largest conferences and exhibitions within
Australia Mark is accustomed to working on numerous client files to achieve optimum
profitability through the highest quality of management.

Richard Dinnage has been in the hospitality industry for over 35 years, as General Manager
of hotels in the United Kingdom and for the last 18 years in Sales & Marketing in the
hospitality industry in Victoria. Venues include 9 years at The World Congress Centre (now
MECC) and 8 years with The Carlton Group of Hotels as National Conference Manager Sales &
Marketing responsible for hotels in Darwin, Brisbane, Sydney, Parramatta, Melbourne,
Auckland and Singapore.

Cathy has been in the accounting field for the past 22 years. She was trained
on the job by accountants William Buck and worked in the accounting industry
servicing her own clients for 8 years before having children. She gained a
vast experience of knowledge working on many different businesses giving her
the flexibility to undertake any bookkeeping/accounting role within any
industry. For the last ten years she has worked as a bookkeeper, Financial
Controller, Office Manager and has been with us at Key Conference Solutions
since 2003.

Pam, having earlier in her career owned and operated her own Travel Agency has over 35
years of practical experience managing all areas in the meetings and conference industry.
A founding member of the International Association of Conference Centres Australia, her
wealth of knowledge from a venue point of view is invaluable in dealing with venues on

Jim brings a wealth of experience to the event management process. For many years as
the Managing Director of family owned regional conference venues in Victoria, he has an
intimate working knowledge of the day to day life in conference venues. A background in
sales and marketing and his own Conference & Hospitality Consultancy business puts
him in good stead to provide expert advice. In 2001, Jim along with his wife Pam
established Key Conference Solutions and is actively involved in all aspects of the industry.
