Southern Star shines over Melbourne
The Melbourne Southern Star observation wheel is taking shape at its home in Docklands. Scheduled to open in November 2008, The Southern Star will offer conference and incentive groups private, air conditioned cabins that will hold up to 20 guests. The wheel will be 120m tall and feature a 3.7 km LED lighting system providing stunning ever-changing displays at night.
New leading event space at Hilton on the Park - Melbourne
Hilton on the Park Melbourne is unveiling the newly refurbished Conference & Events floor on Level 1. The refurbishment includes the famous Grand Ballroom, which has hosted world class acts such as Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner and James Brown. The stunning new look will be revealed at the beginning of May!
A New Resort For Queenstown
Queenstown's latest resort development will be called the Quay West Resort Queenstown and will be the first Quay West resort outside of Australia. Opening early 2011, the resort will comprise of almost 200 apartment style guestrooms, extensive meeting space as well as a restaurant, bar, day spa, gym and pool.
