Hilton Melbourne South Warf
The new Hilton Melbourne South Wharf is reaching its full height of 20 floors alongside the new Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in the $1.4 billion South Wharf redevelopment along the Yarra. Due to open in early 2009, the hotel will offer the highest level of convenience for convention delegates being the only hotel fully-integrated with the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Flowerdale Estate are now able to offer wireless broadband access throughout the venue! To celebrate they are offering a complimentary cocktail party with food and drinks for half an hour for conferences booked through Key Conference Solutions and held in August 2008.
New era for Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort
The $7 million renovation project undertaken by Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort is complete. All 314 guest rooms have received a total make-over including new bedding, furniture, LCD televisions and air-conditioning and now offer a refreshing North Queensland style in keeping with the resort's tropical backdrop. Conference facilities have been extended and updated with hi-tech AV; and includes three meeting rooms and two boardrooms.

The World Travel Awards for Australasia were recently held in Sydney The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa was awarded "Fiji’s leading golf resort" and "Fiji's leading spa resort", the resort took honours among a list of impressive competitors, which were voted on by 167,000 travel professionals worldwide. Hailed by the Wall Street Journal as the "Oscars of the travel industry", the World Travel Awards are the most comprehensive and prestigious in the global travel industry.
Meeting Mart 2008
More than 130 exhibitors from CBD Melbourne, metropolitan and regional Victoria will be on show at Meeting Mart 2008, October 28 at Melbourne Park Function Centre. Exhibitors include all leading venues and events industry suppliers from across Victoria.
New additions to the tradeshow include the Key Conference Solutions / ICMI Speakers & Entertainers showcase breakfast and a luncheon. Breakfast will also include loads of prize giveaways and a few surprises. The lunch will include a fully produced stageshow of some of Victoria's newest and best events performers.
Little Mindil development plan
Skycity has announced that the Northern Territory Government has offered to sell the Little Mindil beachfront property in Darwin to Skycity. The Little Mindil site is an undeveloped 5,400 square metre beachfront property adjacent to the existing Skycity Darwin entertainment complex. Skycity will commit to undertake a multi-million dollar development of both the existing Gala Lawn area and the Little Mindil site over the next three years, providing world-class accommodation, entertainment and recreation areas
