Carrington Resort A Heritage Hotel, the latest luxury addition to the New Zealand Heritage Hotel Management group, is a truly unique venue for a conference or executive retreat for up to 100 delegates.
Set on the spectacular Karikari Peninsula in New Zealand's Far North, on a 3000 acre estate overlooking four kilometres of pristine white sand coastline, the resort has ten lodge rooms and 14 three-bedroom villas, with a fully equipped conference room for up to 100 delegates.
Outstanding facilities include a Matt Dye designed, championship standard 18 hole golf course, a skeet shooting range, tennis courts, petanque, billiard room, library, an infinity swimming pool, jacuzzi and health club. Horse riding, fishing and diving are also available from the resort.
Also on site is New Zealand's northern most vineyard, Karikari Estate, which has numerous awards to its credit. The winery has recently been remodelled for more outdoor dining events with a purpose built marquee enjoying breathaking coastal views, which on a clear day can reach as far as New Zealand's northern most point, Cape Reinga. For special formal evening events, delegates can also dine in the winery's atmospheric Barrel Room.
The resort has three helicopter pads or Air New Zealand flies twice daily from Auckland into nearby Kaitaia airport. (Flight time 40 minutes).
